Nice to Meet Ya!
My name is Becca! I am 25 years old and I'm originally from Massachusetts. When I was 22, I followed my lifelong dream of moving to New York City (a cliché, I know) and I'm now based out of Astoria, Queens.

I've been tuned into pop culture for as long as I can remember. I grew up reading Teen Vogue and Seventeen Magazine, and their move to digital platforms inspired me to start a site dedicated to social justice, entertainment, personal growth, and everything else relevant to us in the 2020s. I still display my One Direction covers proudly on my shelves, though.

I am also a lifelong performer and now a dance and theater teacher! My life in the arts has developed my passion for self-expression and I am proud to be a part of the next generation of educators working towards equity, inclusion, and body positivity in our field. #DanceEducationForAll

Speaking of body positivity...I am on a journey of self-acceptance and eating disorder recovery, something that I have struggled with since I was 11 years old. Among the weeds of my life, I am hoping to be a wildflower and bring awareness and support to this issue affecting so many of us.

All of these things are part of my story, and I hope you join me in building an online community of positivity, vision, and kindness! I look forward to sharing my story with you, too.
Why Wildflowers?

The expression "may all your weeds be wildflowers" reminds me that there is good in every bad, and there is light at the end of every tunnel.
What I love most about a group of wildflowers is that they look equally as beautiful individually as they do together, as individuality and unity are both important to me.

And no, I cannot deny that this hyper-fixation on wildflowers may have started with a certain song from a certain Australian band that I spend a lot of time crying over...
